Finding Neverland Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

BriGuyNY: This cache doesn't seem to have worked out as well as I'd hoped. It was a fun idea, but many of the prerequisite caches have proven to be difficult in keeping active. One (Skull Rock) I had to archive after the Marshlands Conservancy began requiring permits because it did not comply. I attempted to get approval for a Skull Rock II but never heard anything from the Conservancy after a couple attempts of virtual communication. A few others (Pixie Hollow, Pirate's Cove, Crocodile Creek) have repeatedly gone missing. With this final container being thrown in the trash, all within 2 years' time, I'm doing myself a stress relief by letting it go. It was a regular-sized jug with Neverland artwork taped around the exterior, hidden on an island along the Rye Marshlands Conservancy. Mermaid Lagoon and Indian Camp have survived very well, given the circumstances; I just can't keep up with all of them. Originally I wanted the entire series to be 5-terrain kayak caches. Perhaps I'll be able to adapt a new version of this cache elsewhere at a later date. At least this was fun while it lasted. RIP Neverland.

Welcome to Neverland!

A metaphor of immortality, Neverland is one of the most intriguing destinations you will ever encounter throughout your lifetime. Its seclusion from society yet its close proximity to it is captivating to say the least. With endless amounts of imagination and mystique, it's no wonder why Neverland is such a popular place.

Neverland is a product of your thoughts, and will never be the same as anyone else's. This is due to the personality and past experiences of your own self that help shape and create such a place, most commonly seen as an island. Adventures are not far between in Neverland and the passage of time is ambiguous. Finding it is your key to success, and once you're there, you won't want to leave it for anything.

I hope you enjoy this series as much as I have creating it!
