Geocache Description:

Hanging out at Makepeace Lake, talking about geo-woodstock, our thoughts naturally turned to another era. Can't honestly say that I remember it, but I'm told I had a real good time. Funny how the more things change, the more they stay the same. Can't honestly say that I remember 40 some days ago, but I'm told that was fun, too.. The music, though – the music has never been forgotten.

We remember the slogans, too – but their meanings have changed for us.

Let's rap – turn that crap off
Tune in, turn on, drop out – turn in, put your sleep mask on, take a nap
Flower child – flower garden
Joint – where we get arthritis
Far out – a paddle to
Don't trust anyone over 30 – Anyone under 30 is still a kid
Sit-in – type of kayak
Heavy – no longer a size 5
What a trip! - great vacation!
Make love, not war - I have a headache

Anyway, hope you enjoy finding these as much as we enjoyed placing them. Hope you remember them, too. Hope the wonderful music of those times stirs some memories....if you can remember all the words.

Make sure you bring something to sign the logs with. Don't forget to write down a clue when you see one. Please leave clue cards in the caches. All caches, except #45-50 are two wheel drive accessible, but know the limits of your vehicle. You'll want to bring a water vehicle for the last cache!

and the lyrics:

Us and Them - Pink Floyd

Us and them
And after all we're only ordinary men
Me, and you
God only knows it's not what we would choose to do
Forward he cried from the rear
And the front rank died
and the General sat, and the lines on the map
Moved from side to side

Black and blue
And who knows which is which and who is who
Up and Down
And in the end it's only round and round and round
Haven't you heard it's a battle of words
The poster bearer cried
Listen son, said the man with the gun
There's room for you inside

Down and Out
It can't be helped but there's a lot of it about
With, without
And who'll deny it's what the fighting's all about
Out of the way, it's a busy day
I've got things on my mind
For want of the price of tea and a slice
The old man died
