Cache is located in Bear Mountain Reservation Park in southwestern CT. From Rt.37 (Pembroke Rd.), take Bear Mountain Rd. a fraction of a mile and you'll see a parking lot on the right. Note that the park is only open from just after sunrise to just after sunset. Cache is a camoed container (which can house small trackables), located in the ruins of an old building near the trailhead.
Searching for this cache will bring you to Bear Mountain Reservation, a fantastic little park tucked away by Lake Candlewood near Danbury, CT.
Please be respectful of the area and the ruins. There is no need to damage or disrupt anything. Please help preserve the area for future generations! And make sure to obey the park rules. Also, the nearby board has some background history on the area/park, not to mention some nice trail guides for those hiking further into the park (recommended as there are several other caches hidden here not too far away).
Thanks to long john lizard and grapegroger, both of whom have active caches here in the park (which introduced me this area in the first place!).
