The location of the event is at the Roald Amundsen Memorial
which is located near the only Hotel.
Timing of the event will follow once we have confirmed what time
we will arrive.
In 1926 Roald Amundsen, accompanied by the American Lincoln
Ellsworth and the Italian Umberto Nobile, set out from Ny-Ålesund
on a joint expedition in the airship "Norge". The historic
expedition was a success. As planned the airship flew over the
North Pole and landed in Teller, Alaska.
