Geocache Description:

THIS IS NOT A LETTERBOX - YOU MUST FIND THE CACHE

Bench Tor is really a chain of 3 with short walks separating the 3, the most northerly is as far as you can go without falling off the edge but will reward you with fantastic views over the Dart river valley.

You have to find the key stone at the coordinates and the 3 triangles are close by at 240.

This is the second of my 'revived' caches - caches which have been abandoned by the CO and archived by a reviewer. I think that this is one of the best caches on Dartmoor, a brilliant hide and a stunning location, and one which I don't believe should be lost. It appears that the letterbox stamp has been missing for at least 3 and a half years, so it is now just a traditional cache. The description, hint and photographs are from the original cache.

Please take care with this cache and hide and replace it carefully as found. I've left the original letterbox/cache log in the cache for those of you interested.

I would like to thank the Dartmoor National Parks Authority for their kind permission to allow me to place this cache.
