Honnevje rasteplass
Honnevje rasteplass ble bygget i den tid Ånund K. Homme var kulturkonsulent i Valle kommune. En søkte SKAP-midler og satt i gang arbeidet. Flinke folk var med, og en brukte fantasien og tenkte praktisk for de fleste brukergrupper. Det var svært godt samarbeid med Vegvesenet, som satt opp et robust og moderne toalettanlegg for rasteplasser og skaffet rastebord og annet som var kjekt å ha.
Badeplassar og -anlegg
Det er varierte badeplasser på Honnevje, fra plaskedammer til dypere steder i elven. Men vær likevel obs på hvor du bader da det er ett område som er spesielt farlig. Se oppslag på informasjonstavle. Det ble laget broer, rekkverk, stier og bålplass midt ute i elven, så det var sikkert for brann. Store steinbord og sittesteiner ble funnet, til stor glede for de som stakk innom. Der er flytebrygger som er tilgjengelig for rullestolbrukere.
Pris
Honnevje rasteplass fikk ein pris fra "Blomstrende Sørland".
Denne rasteplassen er svært populær for vegfarende. Det er i overkant mye overnattinger i bobil her, noe som ikke er meningen. Det er campingplasser både over- og nedenfor: Flateland Camping og Sanden Såre i Oveinang og Valle Motell og Camp i Valle sentrum.
Honnevje picnic area
