Clube de Ténis de Ovar, fundado em 1988, tem actualmente 198 sócios
e 103 alunos, 61 dos quais federados.
Um dos mais bem equipados do distrito de Aveiro, tem à sua
disposição 6 campos de piso rápido, 2 dos quais com iluminação
artificial, uma parede de batimento, um campo de ténis de praia,
uma sede com bar, espaço de lazer e balneários.
O CT Ovar organiza anualmente diversos torneios oficiais, que fazem
parte do calendário da Federação Portuguesa de Ténis, incluindo
campeonatos regionais. Participação regular das equipas e atletas
do Clube nos campeonatos regionais e
nacionais.
