The Horsted Keynes Canter is a circular walk of about 8 miles, in some lovely countryside to the north east of Horsted Keynes. It is mostly on footpaths and bridleways through woods and fields, but there are several short sections on country lanes, and some hilly bits. There are 28 traditional caches, which are mostly micros, but there are 5 bigger caches for your swaps.
The route can easily be split into two shorter walks, of just over 4 miles each, by going directly from #8 to #21 along a very quiet country lane. If you want to do the whole walk then the suggested parking place is the village car park in Horsted Keynes, but if you want to do the northern half only, you could park at the top of Twyford Lane.
