Geocache Description:

Difficulty rated a 2 because it is out in the open!

You are looking for a small medicine container… You will need to be very careful of the Muggles in this area as the park is very open and there is no way to retrieve this cache without being seen. It is an easy walk as the terrain is level however may be muddy/very wet after a rain. When I went out there it was drizzling and small puddles formed everywhere. All parks close after dark!

#2 of 11 PLEASE FOLLOW THE SERIES IN ORDER 1 - 11!

You are going to need help with this one if you are vertically challenged!

LEARN ABOUT LOCAL HISTORY WHILE GEOCACHING!!! This is the Raupp Museum’s first ever Geocaching Series!!! This is a cache series that will lead the Geocacher around town highlighting our local park history. Some of these sites may go unnoticed to the average person until they have been made aware of them. To commemorate this series 200 geocoins have been created.

You must complete the all of the sites within the series (#1 through #11) in order to follow the series properly. Do not forget to log your finds! Remember, my goal is to have Geocachers learn a little about our town’s history.

The first to find all of the caches will receive a prize inside of cache #11, a FREE Buffalo Grove history geocoin! Only 200 have been made and will not be reissued after they are gone…

THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK!

This is the first of two Micros in the series, it has a wire which acts like a hook on the side. You can unhook it or even bend the hook to retrieve the cache, just remember to bend it back/hook it the way that you found it. Thank you!

Do not forget to post photos of your adventure!

Congrats to scottberks for being the first to find!
