I hope everyone will take the time to check out this old church. The pulpit is called a "teacup" pulpit and is on the wall about 8 feet off the floor so the preacher was looking down on the congregation. The pew backs are at a 90degree angle to the seats and the pews in the balconies do not allow for the length of adult legs.
It must have been extremely uncomfortable to sit through a sermon so straight-backed, cramped and looking up at the minister!
