The older northwest portion of this cemetery was used as a burial ground for many Civil War Veterans and was deemed full by 1890. This older section has been left largely in its natural state, and represents the picture of an early prairie cemetery. In 1992 additional land was purchased and this cemetery was once again availabe for use by residents of the area. The given coordinates are to my late wife's headstone in the cemetery's newer section. Charla was a school teacher in the McFarland School District. This cache is dedicated to her, and all whose lives have been affected by cancer.

The WSQ in the title of this cache is an acronym for Wisconsin
Spirit Quest. Wisconsin geocachers have adopted this acronym to
designate their cemetery caches. As this is classified as a
cemetery cache please note it is NOT hidden on any grave marker or
site. If there is a service going on, or folks are visiting their
