The cache is not at the published coordinates, so don’t try lifting up the white lines in the middle of the road. Instead it is hidden, along with three other caches in this mini-puzzle series, somewhere in the nearby vicinity. There are three individual caches to be solved in the series which all contain two clues for a fourth bonus cache. The bonus needs to be decoded, but is designed to be simple enough to solve in the field (I hope). Hopefully you’ve cottoned onto the theme of this series by now, so this one should be a piece of cake ;-)
Without wanting to be repetitive (but failing dismally), none of the caches are hidden within the formal Hall Place Gardens which is managed by Bexley Heritage Trust, but it provides a good (free) parking spot and the gardens surrounding the Grade I listed building are well worth a visit if you are out this way. Find out more on the Hall Place website.
You are searching for a 35mm film canister and before someone else says it, it’s not the most exciting hide – the fun (or should that be the frustration / angst / aggravation?) is in the solving.
I find it difficult to rate my own puzzles. I’ll keep an eye on logs and may change the rating accordingly.
