SOLVE THE ACROSTICS AND SUBSTITUTE THE LETTERS FOR NUMBERS A=1 B=2 ETC
Acrostics were popular with Victorians as puzzles as well as verses. Queen Victoria herself was very taken with double acrostics and it is said that the one below was actually written by her. The initial letters spell out the name of a town in Great Britain and the last letters spell, in reverse order, something for which it is famous. The cache is not at the above co ordinates but you will need to work out the answers to the following:
A City in Italy
A River in Germany
A town in the United States
A town in the United States
A town in Holland
The Turkish name of Constantinople
A town on Bothnia
A city in Greece
A circle on the Globe
Then substitute the letter for numbers Cache is positioned N53 12.ABC W002 15.DEF
A. 1st letter of feature plus 2nd letter of place
B. 7th letter of place minus 5th letter of feature
C. Last letter of place
D. 3rd letter of place minus 5th letter of feature minus 8th letter of feature minus 3rd letter of feature twice.
E. 4th letter of place plus 1st letter of feature
F. 2nd letter of feature minus 3rd letter of feature minus 6th letter of feature minus 5th letter of place.
