Just outside the Mass Avenue stop on the Orange Line.
Petula Clark had a hit single many many years ago, warning about sleeping on the subway. This is the stop I wind up at when I do sleep and miss my stop.
This is my second Orange line cache, and the first of the new Southwest Corridor caches that I will be jointly placing with Shapstic.
The southwest corridor park is built over the orange line tracks and is a lovely city park with gardens and playgrounds. Originally railroad right of way, big plans in the 1950's and 60's were to have this be a stretch of I-95 cut through the city. Local groups fought the plan, and now I-95 goes around Boston. The park was opened in 1987 when the Orange line of the T was re-routed.
