Geocache Description:


In 2009, the provincial government announced that they would be removing all ferries on the Saint John river. After much outrage from local communities and a number of protests, the government finally relented. Thankfully. The ferries of the river are a wonderful part of our history and connects communities together that rely on them and are also enjoyed by tourists from near and far. Worth the drive in the country for these caches. enjoy!! :) Cache is nestled in a spot in a tree that was meant to hold a geocache!
