Geocache Description:

Aspen Winds cache has been placed about half way between Estes Park and the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. The terrain is very easily, and the cache should be fun to find for the entire family. The elevation of this site is 7,865 feet.

Rocky Mountain National Park is a wonderful experience for any outdoor enthusiast. The nearby town of Estes Park offers lodging, great restaurants, seasonal activities and shopping for those that prefer a few civilized activities mixed into their visit to the great outdoors.
Fall River, one of several rivers that originate in Rocky Mountain National Park, runs through Estes Valley. One of two entrances into the park is adjacent to Fall River on Fall River Road. This cache has been placed about half way between Estes Park and the Fall River entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. It is near the river, and if you stop and listen carefully at the cache location, you will hear the wind blowing through the Aspens.
The cache is an artificial log with a watertight container inside. Please record your visit. The terrain is very easily, and the cache should be fun to find for the entire family. The elevation of this site is 7,865 feet.
