This is a micro cache, number 1712 in the Church Micro series,
located near THE CHURCH of the SCARED HEART, WATERLOOVILLE: Stealth
will be required as this is a busy part of Waterlooville. parking
is available nearby in Winifred Road. NB there is no suitable
parking adjacent to the church!
After many years of planning, the building of a new church and
parish centre started in November 2009 and is was finaly dedicated
on Friday 4th July 2011. This church caters for the needs of this
large and growing parish. Whereas the existing church is set back
from the road, the new church is a landmark building with frontage
on the main London Road, with the wall behind the altar visible
from the road. The complex has been designed by Christchurch
architect Columba Cook and is being constructed by Wilding Butler
Construction. ------------------------------------------------ If
