Kirchen-Cache: Sankt Theresia
Sankt Theresia ist eine römisch-katholische Pfarr- und Klosterkirche im Stadtbezirk 9 Neuhausen-Nymphenburg. Sie wurde von 1922 bis 1924 im Stil des Neobarock errichtet und gehört den unbeschuhten Karmeliten, welche zum Zeichen äußerster Enthaltsamkeit keine Schuhe trugen. Bekannte Vertreter dieses Ordens sind die spanische Mystikerin "Theresa von Ávila" oder "Johannes vom Kreuz". Folgend ein Foto von den netten Karmeliten (Und sie haben doch Schuhe!!).
Die Kirche ist, wie einige vielleicht schon kombiniert haben, der Heiligen Theresa gewidment. Schauen wir uns das schöne Baumwerk doch mal genauer an.

Church Cache: Saint Theresia
Saint Theresia is a Roman Catholic parrish church and minster in the city district Neuhausen-Nymphenburg. It was built starting 1922 and finished 1924 following the new baroque style and belongs to the discalced Carmelites, who didn't wear shoes as a sign of utmost abstinence. Well-known members of this order are the Spanish mystic “Teresa of Avila“ or “John of the Cross“. Below you can see a picture of the nice Carmelites (and they DO have shoes!!).
The church is, as some of you might have already figured out, dedicated to Saint Theresa. Now let's look a little closer at this beautiful building.
