This is not a cache for small children. Yes, it is hidden on a roundabout. Find at your own risk.
This roundabout opened October 2010.
The road is the first phase of the Yelm Loop project that planners hope will relieve congestion.
Construction started back in April 2009 on the $5.5 million project.
According to the WSDOT Regional Administrator, this project will reduce congestion on SR 510 in Yelm and improves the commute for the 18,000 vehicles a day from Thurston and east Pierce counties that travel through this area.
Yelm Mayor Ron Harding was one of the first to drive through the new roundabout.
