Cervena vez je muzeum a zaroven rozhledna. Nalezneme ji v Litomysli kousek od renesancniho zamku. V jejim sousedstvi sidli Institutu restaurovani a konzervacnich technik pardubicke univerzity. Cervena vez je ojedinelym pozustatkem opevneni tzv. Horniho mesta z konce 15. stoleti, ktere zalozil Bohuslavem II. Kostka z Postupic.

Muzeum je otevreno od roku 1998. Originalni moderni zastreseni provedl architekt Mikulase Hulec. Cilem expozice muzea je predevsim prezentace prace zdejsi fakulty. Expozice vznikaji za ucasti studentu. Vystava seznamuje navstevniky s jednotlivymi problemy restauratorskych zasahu. Muzeme take videt sbirky historickych technologii architektury, umeleckych remesel a knizni kultury.

Pokud vystoupame na ochoz veze, namaha se nam urcite vyplati. Muzeme se kochat vyhledem na zamecke navrsi, mesto i jeho okoli. Naskyta se nam pohled na zamek, ktery odtud vypada uplne jinak. Vez je pristupna bez pruvodce.

Cervenou vez muzeme navstivit od cervence do zari, od 9:00-12:00, 12:30-17:00. dospeli za vstup zaplati 25 Kc, deti, duchodci, studenti a vojaci 15 Kc a drzitel prukazu Asociace muzei a galerii maji vstup zdarma

[EN] The Red Tower

The Red Tower is both a museum and an outlook tower. We can find it in Litomysl near the Renaissance chateau. In the neighbourhood of the Red Tower there is settled the Institute of restoration and preservative [saving] techniques of Pardubice University. The Red Tower is a unique relic of a fortification of Upper Town from the end of the 15th century which was founded by Bohuslav II. Kostka from Postupice.

The museum is open since 1998. The original modern roofing was made by the architect Mikulas Hudec. The aim of the exposition is mainly the presentation of the local faculty. The exposition is the work of students. It shows visitors individual problems of restoration interventions. We can also see collections of historical technologies in architecture, in arts and crafts and in book culture, too.

If we go up to the Tower's gallery [bridge] our effort will be rewarded. We can enjoy the view on chateau's hillock, on the town and its surroundings. We can see the château which looks totally differently from this place. The Tower is accessible without a guide.

The Red Tower can be visited from July to September, from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 12:30 to 17:00. A ticket for adults is for 25 crowns and 15 crowns for children, pensioners, students and for soldiers. Holders of cards of the Association of museums and galleries have their tickets free.

First of all you must download the game ROBIN HOOD. Download the latest version. This game can be played everywhere. You can see in the game how to get the coordinates of container.

Unfortunately the game sometimes falls down because of unknown reasons but results are continuously autosaved. The game is mostly recovered after falling and you can go on playing it. If there is a mistake you can be sure that the maximum score is saved in [robin_hood.gwl] file and the file can be used for loading results into the chart.
