In order to qualify for a smiley, you must first find at least one cache on each calendar day of the year. Although a February 29 find is extra special, it is NOT a requirement for logging a smiley for this cache. We should be able to check to see if you have met the challenge by viewing your stats.

Finding the respective caches of the month is not a requirement for logging a find on this cache but is greatly encouraged. We will most likely maintain a "Hall of Insanity" for those finding all thirteen caches of the series.
The difficulty is high due to the amount of caching that is required to meet the challenge. The terrain is based solely upon this find. It has been gratifying to see how many local cachers began "filling in their calendars" in a response to meet the monthly challenges. We waited to publish the final to allow an equal chance for all. The first cache of the month challenge was placed over a year ago. If you started then, you are all set to go. If not, the treasure awaits you! We hope you enjoy the series. As for this cache, you are looking for a plastic container (about 2" square). It is located at the coordinates listed above. BYOP. As always, exercise stealth, depending upon time of day. Plenty of parking is available near GZ. Please take care to rehide the container well. Thanks. Enjoy!
