[LAT] Pilskalns pacelas Aronas upes labaja krasta 16 m augstuma. To no ziemelu un austrumu puses aptek mazs strautinš. Aronas pilskalns izveidots cetrstura forma, atdalot ta austrumu galu no pareja kalna ar platu, dzilu gravu. Pilskalna virsmas garums ir 75 m, platums - 45 m. Arheologiskie izrakumi pilskalna nav izdariti. Aizgajušas paaudzes laudis bija pilnigi parliecinati, ka stavo kalnu ar cepurem sanesuši karaviri. Izrakumi netalu no pilskalna liecina, ka cilveki te dzivojuši jau 11. un 12. gadsimta. Senais nozimigais kara celš no Pleskavas uz Aluksni - Cesvaini - Berzauni - Kalsnavu - Koknesi gaja garam pilskalnam. Viens no iespejamajiem Jersikas karalvalsts novadu centriem: Castrum Marxen. Pievienoju ari seno laiku foto (autors - O.Berzinš, uznemta 193x. gada) Foto Pirmajam atradejam - atslegu piekarinš ar istu skorpionu iekša. Pie mums atcelojis no Afganistanas.
[ENG] Arona mound is located in the Arona river right bank, 16 m in height. To the north and east side runs small rivulet. Arona mound top is in a square shape, separating it from the rest of the eastern tip with a wide, deep moat. Mound length is 75 m, width - 45 m. Mound archaeological excavations were not carried out. Generation of the deceased people were certain that mound made soldiers with their hats. Excavations near the mound suggests that people there lived in the 11th and 12. century. The old significant war way from Pskov to Aluksne - Cesvaine - Berzaunes - Kalsnava - Koknese passed a mound. One of possible Jersikas kingdom county centers: Castro Marxen.
