•Muggles galore, especially in the early mornings and in the afternoons between 3pm and 4pm, so cache with stealth to avoid discovery.
•Ensure you hide the cache container back where you found it.
•The cache you are seeking is a small, cylindrical, silver bison tube and is located outside the building at the co-ordinates provided above.
The Creation Windows, which you are invited to peruse, are the largest themed Stained Glass Windows in the World. Located in the Saint Monica’s Cathedral Building, three distinct themes are evident:
“Creation Windows
The theme of Creation in Genesis Chapters I & 2 is retold in the stained glass panels. This design is continuous. It starts at the front right of the sanctuary flowing and unfolding around the cathedral while incorporating the "Peace Windows”. The first six windows were deliberately designed and painted to be dark. These windows centre on images from deep Space.
Peace Windows
The east windows of the cathedral celebrate the fifty years of peace in the Pacific region since the end of World War Two. The Cathedral itself was built as a war memorial commemorating the decisive Battle of the Coral Sea which was fought due east of Cairns between the 4th and 8th of May in 1942.
The Battle of the Coral Sea
The Battle of the Coral Sea was the first in naval history in which ships did not fire at each other. It was a battle of aircraft carriers and aircraft. As such it became the precursor to modern-day missile warfare. Troops stationed in Cairns and on the Tablelands recall seeing the glowing flashes reflected over the horizon at night during this fierce battle.”

While these beautiful stained glassed windows can be viewed from the outside of the Cathedral building, they are best viewed by entering the building where you can stand and enjoy a panoramic 270° view of the ‘Creation Windows’, the ‘Peace Windows’ and the ‘Battle of the Coral Sea’ windows…..as they were designed to be viewed.
