In den späten Nachmittagsstunden des 29. Juni 2005 zog ein
Tornado durch das Münstertal und richtete innerhalb weniger Minuten
große Schäden an Wald und Gebäuden an. Selbst Jahre nach dem
Ereignis sind die Spuren des Tornados noch gut sichtbar. Auch wenn
Natur und Forstwirtschaft langsam die Lücken im Wald schließen,
lassen die umgestürzten und abgedrehten Baumstümpfe die Gewalt
dieses Sturms erahnen.

In the late afternoon hours of June 29th, 2005 a tornado hit
Münstertal causing notable damage to trees and buidlings. Even
years after the event traces of the tornado are well visible.
Nature and forestry management are slowly closing the gaps in the
forest but fallen and twisted-off trees still tell of the force of
the storm.
