You can find Petörke-lake near Bárdudvarnok village. The cache is located near the Szenna-Bárdudvarnok road.
Petörke-lake came exist by dumming up Petörke-brook three decades ago in a valley (really there are four dummed up lakes on the brook, but they call the biggest lake Petörke). The length is 600 m and the width is 150 m of 2…3 m deep Petörke lake. This valley and the surroundig hills (relative height is about 50 m) have a look as a characteristic Zselic region. You can find the most beautiful view to the Petörke-valley and lake from the vicinity of the cache it is near the Szenna-Bárdudvarnok narow asphalt-covered road on the hillside full of vineyards. This road is forking from the Szenna main street at this point: N 46° 35,560 E 17° 24,372'
You will prudently park your car near the cache by the grassy wayside : N 46° 18,899' E 17° 42,311' You will find a lot of free parking places in the valley.
You can tour the lakes and you can find a free open air beach on the West shore of the lake in summer.
