L’église Saint-Ouen: la Romantique
Cette petite église
discrète, fondée par Guillaume le Conquérant vers 1072, fut rebâtie
au XV siècle.
Avec ses arbres
solitaires, son vieux cimetière, l’église Saint-Ouen possède
un charme certain qui plaît aux romantiques.
L’édifice dans sa totalité, propriété
de la ville de Caen, est inscrit aux Monuments Historiques par
arrêté du 13 avril 1928.

This small discreet church, established by William
the Conqueror in 1072, was rebuilt in the XV century.
With its solitary trees, its old cemetery, the
Saint-Ouen church possesses certain charm which pleases to the
romantic.
The building in its totality, property of the city
of Caen , is registered on Historic Monuments by order of April
13th, 1928.
