Mont Goubot. admire the superb view over the medieval town of Saint Gengoux le National.

Le site du Mont-Goubot, dont le but au 13ème siècle était de défendre la vallée et qui surplombe la cité médiévale de St. Gengoux le National.

Climb to the top of Mont Goubot which is set amongst beautiful rolling vineyards (height 300 meters), see what is left of the old fortifications and admire the superb view over the medieval town of Saint Gengoux le National before finding the treasure!

Le site du Mont-Goubot, situé en plein milieu du vignoble, et dont le but au 13e siècle était de défendre la vallée et qui surplombe la cité médiévale de St. Gengoux le National.
Dominant la ville au nord-est, existait une fortification élevée sur les vestiges d'un poste romain. ancien château fort dont il ne reste qu'une tour, on y trouve dans des fouilles des vestiges gallo-romains.
