I visited Cranberry Lake on 10/1 and looked for the scattered remains without any luck. I then took a walk and removed what was left of Stage 1. Letting this go is bittersweet; the concept is very cool, but the proximity to other hides coupled with the amount of changes this listing has undergone since conception has been too much. May the holy stone and the graveyard rest in peace.

Geocache Description:

As you may know, Cranberry Lake's abandoned quarry is what supplied the stone work for Valhalla's nearby Kensico Dam. There were (and still are) a few great caches there. This one plays off of an archived cache, and takes you on a journey to an abandoned secret graveyard many have never seen.

Begin at the IP. Once there, you will see what I mean. Use this directional guide to locate where the coordinates for the final stash are hiding, but be aware, it's actually hidden a little out of view to the left. If you've found (or heard of) Garvus' "Quarry Crawler Jr.", this one starts out fairly similar.

The gates to Cranberry Lake are open from 9-4, however the park is open from dawn-dusk.
