This cache was placed in part to memorialize Dam Canal Cache (GCH5NP) which was originally hidden on 11-1-2003 and was found 127 times until archived in February 2009 due to it going missing & because the cache owner, "The Eggman", had stopped Geocaching. It was my first-ever cache! I found it with my hunting pals puma732 & simon732 in October 2005 using my Magellan SporTrak Color. The cache was described as "Excellent", "Cool", "EXTREMELY clever", and "Very nifty". Kudos to the CO for his creative hide.
