Imakouji bridge
There was Imakoji-gate of Utsunomiya Castle and Imakoji-bridge has been there with the gate.
The castle was burned down by battle of Utsunomiya Castle of Boshin war in 1868, but the gate remains unburnt. There is a gate that is told moved Imakoji gate at nothern Utsunomiya.
Imakoji bridge is the last point of double layer river, Kamagawa Promenade that is begining from Nishida bridge. You can see deep rever after this bridge because Kamagawa river becomes nomal stream.
Please bring your sticks because there is a small glockenspiel at the rail of the bridge. You also can see glockenspiels at both riverside of downstream from this bridge.

この場所には宇都宮城の今小路門があり，城門とセットで今小路橋が存在していたそうです。
戊辰戦争の宇都宮の攻防で宇都宮城は焼け落ちましたが、今小路門は焼け残り、市北部の家には明治時代に払い下げられて移築されたと伝えられる門が存在しています。
ここは2.2km上流の西田橋から始まった二重構造河川の釜川プロムナード最終地点の今小路橋です。
この今小路橋から下流では一層構造に戻るため，深く掘られた川床を見ることができます。
橋の欄干には小さな鉄琴がありますので、ぜひ叩く棒などをお持ちください。また、橋の下流の両岸にも欄干に鉄琴がありますので、探してみてください。
