L'ancienne gare de Juigné Multi-cache

La ligne Angers-Poitiers fut inaugurée en janvier 1877 et le tronçon Angers Montreuil-Bellay fut totalement abandonnée en 1951 quand la SNCF choisit de ne pas reconstruire les ponts sur la Loire et sur le Thouet.
Cette ancienne gare a été rachetée par les propriètaires actuels. Ils l'ont agrandie mais ils ont conservé intact le corps principal du batiment qui fut la gare.
Ils ont aussi posé ce panneau explicatif pour les passants que l'histoire locale du rail captive.

The railline-Angers Poitiers was inaugurated in January 1877 and the section Angers Montreuil-Bellay was completely abandoned in 1951 when the SNCF chose not to rebuild the bridges over the Loire and the Thouet.
The old station was bought by current owners. They enlarged but they kept intact the main body of the building which was the station. They also installed the panel explaining to passersby that the local history of rail interest.
