Panayia Vounarkotissa Traditional Geocache
The Platonas Two: Visited the cache intending to carry to carry out maintenance. Due to some tree surgery taking place it was not possible to reach GZ. The cache has been disabled until the area is safe to visit.

Panagias tis Vounarkotissas is a lovely place to visit and it’s worth spending some time here just sitting peacefully in the cool gardens. There’s also a little colony of cats who will be very happy to see you - especially if you bring them a treat or two!
The Panagias Vounarkotissa can easily be passed by unnoticed as it is quite discreet and could be mistaken for a garden to an average home, but this is actually a church within a cave where, during the Turkish Domination era, Christians would come to worship secretly.
It is said that quite a few miracles occurred - and still occur today - in the cave church. The soil inside the cave, after being mixed with water and turned to mud, can be placed upon one's body over the point where there is a problem or ailment and then you are cured. No guarantees from The Platonas Two, but if you do decide to try it, please post pictures!
