St. Sebastian-Kirche auf der Weit ist eine Pestkirche und befindet sich südlich von Unterinn. Die Entstehung geht auf ein frommes Gelöbnis zurück: „Als nämlich die im Jahre 1634 erstmals aufgetretene und dann 1635 neuerdings ausgebrochene Pestseuche auch 1636 wieder auftrat und zahlreiche Opfer forderte, gelobten die verschreckten Unterinner, dem heiligen Pestpatron Sebastian eine Kirche auf dem Weithügel zu erbauen, wenn er es durch seine Fürsprache bei Gott dahin bringe, dass die Seuche erlösche und sie auch in Zukunft verschont bleiben würden. So war es dann auch wirklich: die Seuche erlosch im Herbst desselben Jahres 1636 und kam auch im folgenden Jahr nicht wieder - und so machten sich die dankbaren Unterinner, getreu ihrem Gelöbnis in schwerer Stunde, noch im gleichen Jahr 1637 auf und begannen mit dem Bau der heute dastehenden Kirche". Bei der Gegend um St. Sebastian handelt sich um einen besonders geschichtsträchtigen Boden:
Hier siedelten schon in der Urzeit Menschen und in der Römerzeit hat sich hier ein Friedhof befunden.

St. Sebastian Church is a Plague Church and it is located south of Unterinn. The origin goes back to a pious vow: "For when in 1634, which first arose and then in 1635 has recently broken out plague and in 1636 again appeared and asked numerous victims, praised the frightened inhabitants of Unterinn, to build the holy Pestpatron Sebastian a church on the far hill, if he did through his intercession with God, then bring to the disease go out and they would be spared in the future. So it became true: the plaque disappeared in the fall of that year 1636 and didn’t appeared in the following year - and so the grateful inhabitants of Unterinn begann to build in the same year, 1637, the nowaday church standing there".
