Always found this secluded part of the Moor to be one of the less visited
by walkers, probably due to the boggy ground particularly in the winter
months. I use to regularly trail my Ten Tors team through here having come down from the Beardown Tors on the way to Gt Mis Tor following the wall which seemed endless sometimes.
WARNING
This is a military training area on which live firing may be used. The area is generally open public access. DO NOT approach touch or pick up any metal objects lying on the ground. Please obey bylaws and local information concerning times when area may be closed.
