Geocache Description:

Please note that the Staffordshire Ironman race takes place on 14th June 2015 and many roads in the area will be closed that morning.

This is the first of a series of caches which consists of a 6-7 miles circular walk, a large section of which is on the Staffordshire Way.

For those Geocachers who want to do this as a walk, walking directions to get from cache to cache will appear below, but be warned the route can be very muddy in places, so good walking boots are advisable.

Please keep to the public footpaths and sides of fences as described in the logs.

Many of the caches can be picked off from nearby parking areas, but to get the co-ordinates for the final Bonus Cache (GC2MVE9) you may need to complete the full circuit to get all the coordinates for the Bonus Cache. The Bonus Cache is not part of the circular walk, but is somewhere within a 4 mile radius of this location.

A pencil has been provided in all but one of the caches, but it may be advisable to bring your own pen and something to help extract the logs from some of the containers.

There are a couple of other caches on this circuit that can also be picked up en-route if desired
Blithfield Port - GCH7TX
Conctellations: Ursa Major - Megrez - GC1Y4ZH (final part of a neat series)

*** PLEASE DO NOT PARK ADJACENT TO THIS CACHE, PARK IN THE DESIGNATED PARKING AREA AND WALK ACROSS THE CAUSEWAY, KEEP HOLD OF GEOKIDS AND GEOHOUNDS AS THIS IS A VERY FAST AND BUSY ROAD ***
