A cool little brook that feeds the pond I have spent many a warm day on. Lots of rocks and trees in different stages of decay. The running water makes its way through the area and empties into the pond. Great spot for wildlife viewing.
FYI UPDATE
Checked area today and almost stepped in pile of 20+ fish. River otter in area near cache. Please dont harm the little otter he is fun to track in snow etc...

FYI I saw a big black bear this morning August 8 2011 within 800' of this hide. Another was seen in area about 1 month ago near this too. Should be safe but it is the north country, so make noise as you walk.
