The winter’s crystal landscape surrounds
I'd have to dig forty inches to reach the ground
The lake is solid and has a silent glow
I would check it but fear I'd freeze may toe
Soon summer will finally arrive
I will remain silent in order to survive.
It’s a hike to reach that’s for sure
But if you’re a cacher, that’s the lure.
Come summer a walk will not due
You’ll have to be armed with a boat or canoe.
