My favourite place on Dartmoor. Not too far really from the small carpark north of Sharpitor. Take a nice little walk up past Sharpitor and head over to Leather Tor. Keep west of Leather Tor and head around the southern point of the tail of the Tor. You will get some amazing views of the Burrator Reservior to the south. Standing on the tail you can have Sharpitor at 330 degrees, Leather Tor directly north and a radio mast 028 degees. Whilst you are taking in the view look 160 degrees.
This is the first Geo Cache the Goz Family have put out. This is Daddy Goz's stomping ground when he can't get north and home. The view is one of the best on Dartmoor and on a clear day you can see the break water at Plymouth. We decided to put out this cache and combine Ryan Goz's 'Letter Box', do not confuse the two, so you better bring your stamp too. The cache has been recently updated to a medium and restocked with the help of Bex. The original was a small one with a first fill is as follows, how exciting hey!
