Widbury Hill Hotel is situated on Widbury Hill near the site of an old hillfort which overlooks the Lee Valley and Amwell Nature Reserve. The cache is within five minutes of a car park on Cappell Lane, you are advised to wear walking shoes during the wet months as it may be muddy and you are required to keep your dogs on leads.
There are numerous rabbit warrens nearby and there is a good chance of seeing Muntjac deer in the vicinity if you are lucky. On the River Ash there is sometimes a Kingfisher in the area.
There are other good geocaches in the area which I would recommend if you have the time. Please rehide the cache carefully and be aware that this is a popular walking route so keep an eye out for other walkers.
Caches was placed using a Garmin Etrex which at the time was accurate to 34 feet.
