Jokamiehen oikeudet
Suomessa saat liikkua jalan, hiihtäen tai pyöräillen luonnossa
muualla kuin pihamaalla sekä muilla kuin sellaisilla pelloilla,
niityillä tai istutuksilla, jotka voivat vahingoittua
kulkemisesta.
Saat myös oleskella tilapäisesti alueilla, missä liikkuminenkin on
sallittua - voit esimerkiksi telttailla suhteellisen vapaasti,
kunhan pidät huolen riittävästä etäisyydestä asumuksiin.
Voit myös poimia luonnonmarjoja, sieniä ja kukkia sekä onkia ja
pilkkiä jokamiehenoikeuksiin nojaten.
Oikeuksiisi kuuluu myös lupa veneillä, uida ja peseytyä vesistössä
sekä kulkea talvisin jäällä.
Ratsukot kuuluvat jokamiehenoikeuksien piiriin mutta hevosajoneuvot
eivät. Hevosta saa myös uittaa jokamiehenoikeuksiin nojaten.
Jokamiehenoikeudet koskevat Suomessa myös muiden maiden
kansalaisia.
Muutaman sadan metrin päässä purkilta on hyvin varusteltu
Myllykosken laavu, jossa voit viettää hetkosen luonnossa. Laavun
lähellä on myös kätkö.

enjoyment!
The traditional Finnish ”Everyman’s Rights” give
everybody the right to use and enjoy the countryside.
”Everyman's rights also entail responsible bahaviour
- Do not allow your activities and presence in the countryside to
disturb the wildlife.
- Show consideration and respect for other people.
- Take good care of buildings and equipment that you borrow;
don’t forget to clear up afterwards.
Finland’s legal concept of everyman’s right gives
everyone the chance to enjoy outdoor pursuits, and the freedom of
the country’s vast forests and fells, and many lakes and
rivers, with few restrictions.
Public access to private land is much wider in Finland, and the
other Nordic countries, than in most other countries.
Nature is often fragile, however, and especially here in the North
can be slow to recover from damage.
With the freedom to enjoy the countryside comes the obligation to
leave the environment undisturbed and preserve Finland’s rich
natural heritage for future generations to enjoy.
Everyone is basically entitled to walk, ski, cycle or ride freely
in the countryside, as long as this causes no harm to property or
nature.
This right is limited in cultivated fields and plantations, and
around people’s homes.
