Come join us for a weekend of camping and outdoor fun at
Caolasnacon Caravan and Camping Park.
Caolasnacon is nestled in an glorious setting just outside
Kinlochleven and a few miles from Glencoe. It is situated on the
south shore of Loch Leven and campfires are allowed on the
shoreline. It's surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery,
hopefully the weather will allow us to appreciate it.
We will be at Caolasnacon from Friday 13th until Sunday 15th
May, with the main event being the barbeque on the Saturday
evening, which is open to all campers and visitors alike .
As everyone will be arriving at different times on the Friday,
there will be no organised meal that night. The chippy in
Kinlochleven is highly reccomended if people don't want to cook. We
can gather at Big Blue to catch up and swap tales and caching
stories
For the Saturday, during the day you can spend the day caching,
shopping, playing in the loch, sight seeing, whatever you fancy and
in the evening we'll have a barbeque and no doubt a campfire on the
shore .
To make things easier, we will supply food for the barbeque and
will ask everyone to pay a small amount per head to cover the cost.
The cost will likely be around £3 each and may be considerably
less.
After the BBQ for your entertainment we will attempt to have a
caching quiz, with prizes will be given to the winners
Sunday will hopefully be a very relaxed day, before we head for
home
Caolasnacon has room for tents, caravans and campervans, please
note they don't accept bookings for these, it is case of turn up
and pitch up. We have discussed this with them and they are
confident they will have room for anyone who wants to come
along.
