This is the 1st in a series of 8 caches. You can park very close to this cache.
Let’s start the year as we mean to go on and what better way than a Geowalk – our first of 2011! Happy New Year to everyone.
The ‘Geowalk’ consists of 8 caches taking you on a 6 km circular walk. It is quite strenuous in some parts and the terrain is quite rough so we recommend you wear good walking shoes. It is mostly on track but there is a section that is off-track and across some scrubland. You will also have to skirt round the edge of some fields with crops growing. The walk is not suitable for young children.
If you collect the caches in sequence, starting with #1, the walk should take you approx 1.5 hours All 8 of the caches are fairly easy to find. They vary in size from micros to regular. As always in Cyprus, make sure you take plenty of water with you to drink and beware of snakes.
