Surrey Mid-Week Meet #15 Event Cache

This cache has been archived.

Mr'D: Thanks everybody for all your kind words.
It was quite a turnout and I think the publican's offer of the restaurant area was a welcome one.
Hope to see you all at the next [:)]

Geocache Description:

The Surrey Mid-Week Event continues its travels and arrives in Woking.

The Bird In Hand
Egley Road
Mayford Green
Woking
GU22 0NL

Thursday 27th January 2011, from 7pm.

The venue is a pub and small restaurant offering bar snacks and, for the event, a small choice of menu.

THE MENU IS NOW AVAILABLE!

Please place your orders by clicking here then save by clicking top right of the document.

I need all order in by Monday 24th January 2011.  Thank you.

There's plenty of off road parking at the pub.

Enter the pub from the front entrance and the area to the left has been set aside for us.

If you have never been to an event before you are very welcome and it would be lovely to meet you.

It's a great way to meet fellow cachers and share caching stories (or even pick up a few hints for those puzzles) over a glass or two. There will be the normal opportunity to swap and discover Travel Bugs and Geocoins.

Other monthly events in neighbouring counties.

The Surrey events have been inspired by the success of the Sussex and Hampshire meets and are nominally held on the second Thursday of every month (but moved back a little for January so we can all get over the Christmas and New Year activities). They are organized by local cachers and can be held anywhere in the county of Surrey.

We are constantly looking for fresh volunteers to host events in different parts of the county. Click for further details.
