Ainokaino: Kas, lentokentälle on kahvilan lisäksi ilmestynyt toinenkin uusi kätkö. Tuskin sinne kolmea tarvitsee. Muutenkin viime aikoina työt ja muut harrastukset ovat verottaneet aikaa kätköilyltä niin, että annetaanpa paikka aktiivisemmille.

Geocache Description:

Tämä helppo peruskätkö on tarkoitettu erityisesti matkalaisten vaihtoon. Kätkössä on erilliset lounget Oulusta lähteville ja Ouluun saapuville matkaajille.

Lentoaseman parkkipaikka on maksullinen, mutta Vänrikintien varteen voinee parkkeerata vähäksi aikaa. Ainakaan kätköä tehdessä paikalla ei ollut pysäköinnin kieltävää merkkiä.

Kätköpaikalla on kameravartiointi, mutta lentoaseman kiinteistövastaava on tietoinen kätkön sijainnista ja sen etsijöistä.

Oulun lentoasema sijaitsee Oulunsalossa 15 kilometriä Oulun keskustasta lounaaseen. Matkustajamäärältää kenttä on Suomen toiseksi vilkkain. Lentoasema valmistui vuonna 1953, mutta sitä on laajennettu sen jälkeen useaan otteeseen. Juuri nyt kätkön ilmestyessäkin (joulukuu 2010) alueella on menossa laajennustyö.

This is an easy cache for exchanging travellers. There are separate lounges for travellers arriving in Oulu and for those leaving Oulu.

There is a parking fee at the airport parking, but you may be able to leave your car in Vänrikintie. At least, at the time the cache was placed, there was not a no parking sign.

There are surveillance cameras at the area, but not to worry, airport personnel know about the cache.

Oulu Airport is located in Oulunsalo 15 kilometers southwest of the city of Oulu. In terms of number of passengers it is the second busiest airport in Finland. The airport was built on 1953, but it has been extended many times after that. Even right now, at the time of placing the cache (December 2010), there are improvements being made and parking areas increased.
