Geocache Description:

The bald eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus), our national bird, is the only eagle unique to North America. At one time, the word "bald" meant "white," not hairless. We have a nesting pair of bald eagles right across from this cache. They have fledged two offspring every year for the last four years. This pair does not migrate as most do. Look in the surrounding trees and in the sky. I hope you are lucky enough to see one while you are hunting this bison. It is well camoed and well hidden. Park at these cords. and you will have a short walk on a well worn trail, used by fisherman. To see the nest look east from the cache in the highest tree. The property owner has given Geocachers permission to park at the cords and hunt this cache. Please hide the cache as you found it so others may experience the same adventure as you have. Enjoy
