On the Fifth Day of Cachemas Secret Santa released to me,

  • 5 Golden Things
  • 4 Lost Toys
  • 3 Cachemas Puzzles
  • 2 Confusing Stages
  • and One Code to Crack

This multi-cache is hidden on the Firehouse Trail leading into the Saugatuck Falls Natural Area, coming in from the trail head off of Umpawaug Rd. Hidden for the 12 days of Cachemas. This cache was hidden with the number 5 in mind. The temperature was 55° outside when it was hidden. The final is a 50 cal. ammo can, and it's hidden in typical ammo can style, with an average of 5 readings taken There is a handmade Cachemas ornament for the FTF. To find the final ammo can, you must find the first stage. Search the area at the coordinates given, and there are 5 containers to be found within a 30' radius, or so, of the coordinates taken, which were averaged from 5 readings. One of those containers will have the coordinates written inside. Four will tell you to keep looking, don't be alarmed, the real one is around there somewhere, you're getting warmer.

About the hider: I have small feet and brown eyes. I don't live in this town, but I know it very well. I'm a fan of creative camouflage.

This is the fifth in the series of caches celebrating “The Twelve Days of CACHEMAS”. For each of the 12 days a new cache is released. In addition to the winter friendly fun each cache contains a clue to the coordinates for a final prize cache where we have placed a special gift for you. All the caches in this series are snow friendly and family oriented with terrain and difficulty no more than 2 (or at least a descent spoiler clue for the harder ones). We hope you have as much fun as we did putting this together.

HAPPY CACHEMAS from JAMM and the Secret Santas
