This cache is named for my old school and team name. The school
still exists. The team name does not. That said, Mound was a great
place to grow up. This cache is a long driver from my childhood
home and is hidden very near to a pond that I used to venture
across during the winter months along my paper route. The short-cut
across the pond saved me minutes at most and yet I found the risk
worth it. I fell through the ice not once, but twice on the west
side of the pond but suffered no ill effects except for the
embarrassment of having not learned my lesson after one chilly
dip.
The cache container has trackable for trading, some swag, and a log
book (of course). Enjoy your time in Mound, former home of the
Mohawks and Tonka Toys.
