Bludný balvan, ci též eratický balvan, je blok horniny, který byl v dobe ledové prepraven ledovcem na velkou vzdálenost, kde byl po roztátí ledovce usazen v geologicky zcela odlišném prostredí. Pojem bludný balvan se nekdy používá nesprávne i pro balvany, které osamocene leží na povrchu terénu, ale nemají s cinností ledovce nic spolecného.
