Geocache Description:

This cache is placed to commemorate Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961), Nobel prize-winning author.

Hemingway is best known for the terse, unornamented prose and memorable protagonists, such as Santiago in "The Old Man and the Sea," Frederic Henry in "A Farewell to Arms," and Robert Jordan in "For Whom the Bell Tolls." Hemingway remains one of the most widely-read authors in American high schools.

Parking accessed on Manchester Avenue, east off of Vine Hill Road. See waypoint.
