Geocache Description:

Two stage cache. Follow the coordinates down a well maintained gravel path to a sign. Grab information from sign to complete the coordinates to stage 2.

This cache is the second in a series of 5 invasive plant-themed caches placed around parks in Northern Virginia.

Take a well maintained trail to the coordinates given. You will come to an interpretive sign. To retrieve the coordinates for stage 2 answer the following from the sign:

A = number of native plants listed

B = number of invasive exotics listed

N 38 55.[A+44] 7 W 77 20.50 [B-6]

The Walker Nature Center was opened in 2009 and was a gift from the Friends of Reston. You will need to go inside to find the cache. There is no fee to enter the facility. It is a neat place. Read the hint if you need to...

Nature House Hours of Operation: Mon. & Wed. - Fridays 9 am - 5 pm Saturdays 10 am - 1 pm Sundays 1 pm - 4pm CLOSED to public on Tuesdays. CLOSED to public on holidays

The entire facility is one of the first GOLD LEED certified buildings in this area. Take a look around at the offerings here and educational opportunities.

To find this cache you will need to locate a unique container in the Nature Center. Please take care to return it back to the exact location as you found it. Use stealth when moving the cache so that mugglers are not aware of your mission...Staff at the center are in on the nature of the series and may be delighted to answer any questions you have.

BRING YOUR OWN PEN.

TO FIND THE CLUE (to the series final: Raiders of the Lost Park GC2JE3B): You will need to learn how many invasive plants are banned in Reston. Jot that clue down as you collect clues for the series final cache.

All containers in this series are unique and handmade. Take care when handling them and replace exactly as found to keep it fun for the next finders.

Special thanks to Katie Shaw for assisting with placement allowing this cache to be placed in the Nature Center.

Be sure to grab the clue (found inside the cache) for Raiders of the Lost Park.

Remember, it's all about the journey...

FTF honors go to cphug 184! You have the edge having this one before the holiday...hehehe

Now go find:
